Baseball Recap: Catholic of Pointe Coupee Takes a Loss

Catholic of Pointe Coupee was the 14-4 winner over St. Edmund when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Catholic of Pointe Coupee fell 4-1 to St. Edmund on Thursday.

Catholic of Pointe Coupee's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for St. Edmund, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-13 record this season.

Catholic of Pointe Coupee will be playing in front of their home fans against French Settlement at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The last three games French Settlement has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for St. Edmund, they will venture away from home to challenge Opelousas Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
