Recap: Dayspring Christian Academy Eagles vs. Caliche Buffaloes
The Dayspring Christian Academy Eagles can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They blew past Caliche 66-18 on the road. The victory was just what Dayspring Christian Academy needed coming off of a 48-0 loss in their prior game.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Dayspring Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Caleb Kayl, who rushed for 49 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for six yards and a touchdown while completing 100% of his passes. Logan Clark was in the mix as well, providing Dayspring Christian Academy with two touchdowns.
Dayspring Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Caliche, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dayspring Christian Academy will square off against Sedgwick County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Caliche, they will head out on the road to face off against Akron at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Akron knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matches -- so hopefully Caliche likes a good challenge.
