It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Antioch ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Grayslake Central Rams by a score of 9-4. The Sequoits haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Antioch's record now sits at 16-12. As for Grayslake Central, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 10-12.

Coincidentally, Antioch and Grayslake Central will both be playing Lakes the next time they take the field. The Rams will host the Eagles at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Sequoits will head out to face them at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday.
