Baseball Preview: Fullerton Indians vs. La Habra Highlanders
Fullerton is 8-2 against La Habra since April of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The team also got some help courtesy of Zach Fany, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but La Habra ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They came out on top against Sunny Hills by a score of 4-3 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game).
La Habra also got a great performance from Isaac Aguirre as he didn't allow a single earned run over 4.2 innings pitched.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Bobby Fierro, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Fullerton has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7-1 record this season. As for La Habra, they pushed their record up to 17-7 with that win, which was their third straight at home.
Fullerton came out on top in a nail-biter against La Habra in their previous meeting back in April of 2023, sneaking past 1-0.
