Volleyball Recap: St. Patrick Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Harrison County, St. Patrick was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Newport Wildcats 2-1. The win continues a trend for the Saints in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won three in a row.

St. Patrick's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Newport, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

St. Patrick has already played their next contest (against Augusta), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Newport, they will take on Villa Madonna at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
