Soccer Recap: Irvington Preparatory Academy Starts Season with Loss at Home

Irvington Preparatory Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They lost 12-0 to the Indiana Math & Science Academy North Knights on Thursday. If Irvington Preparatory Academy was looking for revenge after losing 11-0 to Indiana Math & Science Academy North when the teams met back in August of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The victory made it two in a row for Indiana Math & Science Academy North and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Irvington Preparatory Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Riverside at 5:30 p.m. on September 9. As for Indiana Math & Science Academy North, they will take on Daleville in a tournament on Saturday.
