Basketball Recap: Field Kindley Takes a Loss

Field Kindley lost against Chanute back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Field Kindley Golden Tornado fell just short of the Chanute Blue Comets by a score of 49-46.

Field Kindley's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Chanute, the victory was the 16th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-2.

Field Kindley and Chanute should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Kansas Rankings. Field Kindley (ranked 96th) will meet Fort Scott (ranked 287th) on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Chanute will face off against Independence at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday up 156 places (43 vs. 199).
