Football Game Recap: Sioux City East vs. Sioux City North

Sioux City East took their match against Sioux City North on Friday by a conclusive 35-11 score. That result was just more of the same for Sioux City East, who also won the last time these teams played.

The contest started off well for Sioux City East, whose offense put up 28 first-half points. Sioux City North countered with 3 points, leaving the score at 28-3 going into the half. Although Sioux City East wound up losing the second-half battle, they still had enough in reserve to win the war. The win bumped their record up to 4-2. The loss dropped Sioux City North's record to 1-5.

Next week Sioux City East take on Dowling Catholic at 7:00 PM. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both of those teams put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up. As for Sioux City North, they will face off against Hoover. Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
