Basketball Recap: STEM School Highlands Ranch Takes a Loss

STEM School Highlands Ranch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost to the DSST: College View Wolves at home by a 38-22 margin.

Despite the loss, STEM School Highlands Ranch saw an underclassman step up: freshman Morgan Hamm posted ten points and four steals. Those ten points gave Hamm a new career-high.

STEM School Highlands Ranch's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for DSST: College View, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-14.

Looking ahead, STEM School Highlands Ranch will host Poudre Community Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. STEM School Highlands Ranch is facing Poudre Community Academy at the right time seeing as Poudre Community Academy is stuck on a 16-game losing streak. DSST: College View does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
