Baseball Recap: Clyde Extends Winning Streak to Three

Clyde let Vermilion stack five runs on them in the seventh inning on Thursday but luckily Clyde prevailed anyway. The Fliers narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Sailors 8-7. The victory was nothing new for the Fliers as they're now sitting on three straight.

The team relied heavily on Mason Flewelling, who went 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Deacon Brown, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Clyde kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are 2-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
