            There's no place like home for Campbell County, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Friday. They managed  a  39-35 win over the Great Crossing Warhawks  on Friday. The  victory was a breath of fresh air for the Camels as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.
 Trevor Bertram had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 225 yards and three  scores while picking up 10.2 yards per carry.

 Bertram was just one part of a punishing run game: Campbell County was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 257  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've posted since back in August of 2024.
Campbell County's  win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-6. As for Great Crossing,  they are  on  an  eight-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.
 Looking ahead, Campbell County is taking a road trip to  take on Beechwood  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Tigers' defense has only allowed 8.4  points per game  this season, so the Camels' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Great Crossing, they will look to defend their home field  on Friday against Corbin  at 7:30  p.m. The Warhawks will need to watch out since the Redhounds have now posted at least 31  points  in their last three contests.
