Basketball Recap: The Webb School Snags 14th Win in Last 15 Games

The Webb School had won three straight home games and Daria Biriuk did her part to make it four on Tuesday. The Webb School Feet breezed by the Franklin Road Academy Panthers to the tune of 59-24 thanks in part to Biriuk, who went 9 for 19 on her way to 23 points along with six boards and three steals. The game was her third in a row with at least ten points.

Makynli Bacon was another key player, putting up 11 points and six rebounds. She has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times she's played.

The Webb School has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points per game. As for Franklin Road Academy, they moved to 19-8 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

The Webb School will square off against Providence Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Franklin Road Academy, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Franklin Road Academy Panthers challenge the University School of Nashville Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
