Baseball Recap: Buckeye Central Takes a Loss

Buckeye Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 12-3 to the Carey Blue Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-5 last Wednesday.

Buckeye Central's loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Carey, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

Buckeye Central will challenge Riverdale at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bucks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Falcons have averaged an impressive 6.3 runs per game this season. As for Carey, they will take on McComb at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
