Softball Recap: Richardson Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Richardson and South Grand Prairie squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Richardson had to settle for second. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 12-2 to the Warriors, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost six in a row.

Richardson's loss dropped their record down to 11-15. As for South Grand Prairie, the victory was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-8-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Richardson beat the Warriors by a score of 5-4 on Friday.
