If Alamosa was feeling good fresh off their 4-0 takedown of Montezuma-Cortez last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mean Moose lost 5-1 to the Pueblo County Hornets on Tuesday. Alamosa were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-1.

Alamosa's loss dropped their record down to 1-12-1. As for Pueblo County, they pushed their record up to 8-1-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Alamosa will square off against Lake County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Alamosa will be up against Lake County's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.67 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
