Basketball Recap: Yukon Comes Up Short

Yukon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 48-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stillwater Pioneers. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Millers came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 139th, while the Pioneers are ranked 289th).

Yukon's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Stillwater, the victory snapped their losing streak at nine games and leaves them with a 2-10 record.

Yukon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 64-29 win against Grant on the 21st. Stillwater has also already played their next game, a 71-17 victory against Putnam City West on the 21st.
