Football Recap: Thomas Jefferson Comes Up Short

Thomas Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 28-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy Tigers. Thomas Jefferson was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Thomas Jefferson now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Thomas Jefferson is set to square off against their familiar foe Jefferson RISE Charter at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy will challenge rival Haynes Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
