Softball Recap: Kingsley-Pierson Gets the Win

While Kingsley-Pierson's win against Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers won by a run and slipped past the Royals 7-6. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Royals recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Kingsley-Pierson's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-3.

Coming up, Kingsley-Pierson will be playing at home against West Monona at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Panthers 3.8, the Spartans 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union, they will head out to square off against George-Little Rock at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
