Soccer Game Preview: Warden vs. Othello

The Warden Cougars will head out on the road to face off against the Othello Huskies at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Warden will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

While Warden's win against Naches Valley wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cougars beat the Rangers by a goal, winning 3-2. Three seems to be a good number for Warden as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of goals in their previous game.

Meanwhile, in Tuesday's Canine Competition, Othello had to take the L. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Ellensburg on Tuesday.

Warden's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Othello, they dropped their record down to 7-5 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Warden might still be hurting after the 7-1 loss they got from Othello in their previous meeting back in March of 2025. Can the Cougars avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
