Football Recap: Ogden Tigers vs. Logan Grizzlies
After flying high against Preston last Friday, Ogden came back down to earth. The Tigers took a 20-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Logan Grizzlies on Friday. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Grizzlies recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.
Although Ogden took the loss, they still got scores from Blake Weston and Gavin Shreve.
Ogden didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. Shreve picked up that interception and then proceeded to rub salt in the wound by taking it back the other way for a touchdown. He got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Easton Favero was the offensive standout of the game as he rushed for 82 yards, and also threw for 121 yards and one touchdown while completing 73.3% of his passes. Those 82 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
Ogden's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Logan, they moved to 2-4 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.
