Baseball Recap: Sunbright Takes a Loss

Sunbright was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 11-0 to the Bledsoe County Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 on Friday.

Sunbright saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jonathan Taylor, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Sunbright's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Bledsoe County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-8.

Coming up, Sunbright will be playing in front of their home fans against Jellico at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Bledsoe County, they will head out on the road to challenge Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
