After a string of six wins, Cherokee County's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They lost 7-0 to the Plainview Bears. The game marked the first time this season in which the Warriors were not able to get on the board.

Cherokee County's defeat dropped their record down to 16-2. As for Plainview, their win was their 24th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cherokee County will face off against Alexandria at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Plainview, they will head out to square off against Madison County at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Bears surely won't give up without a fight.
