Football Game Recap: Legacy vs. Verdugo Hills

Verdugo Hills had enough points to win and then some against Legacy on Thursday, winning 55-40.

Verdugo Hills's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 34 points in the first half. Legacy came up with 14 to make it 34-14 heading into the break. Verdugo Hills were outperformed in the second half 21-26 but had enough in reserve to walk away with the game. The win bumped their record up to 1-2. Legacy are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-3.

Verdugo Hills will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Heritage Christian at 7:00 PM. Legacy are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Locke next week at 7:00 PM.
