Volleyball Recap: Fruita Monument Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Fruita Monument lost against Castle View back in September of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wildcats fell 3-1 to the Sabercats.

Fruita Monument's offense was headlined by Cambelle Brammer and Kambrie Payne, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Parker Clarke and her 27 assists. Kaleigh Klouzek controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Castle View had a senior duo take command as Kate Erickson had nine digs and two aces and Bradli Brown had 11 digs and one assist.

Fruita Monument's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Castle View, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Fruita Monument wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Palisade on the 30th. As for Castle View, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Chatfield on the 30th.
