Volleyball Recap: Walnut's Undefeated Season over After Eight Games

Walnut lost against Kossuth back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Aggies by a score of 2-1. The game marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Walnut fell to 7-1. As for Kossuth, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3-2 record this season.

Kossuth didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Belmont on the 16th. Hopefully Walnut paid attention to the Aggies' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Aggies at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
