Doniphan-Trumbull gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Fillmore Central Panthers with a sharp 3-0 win. The Cardinals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Doniphan-Trumbull will challenge Arcadia/Loup City on Tuesday. As for Fillmore Central, they will host Superior at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
