Volleyball Recap: Pocono Mountain West Takes a Loss

Pocono Mountain West lost against Liberty back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers came up short against the Hurricanes, falling 3-0. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-16, 25-15.

Pocono Mountain West's offense was headlined by Jerel Sims and Isaac Ssenyundo, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Antonio Baric and his 11 assists. Finally, Sims was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Pocono Mountain West's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Liberty, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Pocono Mountain West will head out to challenge Bethlehem Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Liberty, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Southern Lehigh at 7:00 p.m. on the 28th.
