The Page Sand Devils are taking a road trip to take on the Benjamin Franklin Chargers at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Page will bounce into Saturday's matchup after beating Winslow, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Sand Devils came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 6-3 on Tuesday.

The team relied heavily on Mason Yazzie, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles, one stolen base, and one run. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2025. Joseph Benally also deserves some recognition as he got his first hits of the season.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Benjamin Franklin, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They won by a run and slipped past ALA - Mesa North 12-11. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Chargers have posted since April 10, 2025.
Benjamin Franklin got a massive performance out of Talan Speir, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Speir has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jett Garman, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Benjamin Franklin kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in three consecutive games.
Benjamin Franklin's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 11.0 runs this season. As for Page, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Saturday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Page has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.5 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Benjamin Franklin struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 8.4 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
