Basketball Recap: Sinton's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Sinton entered their tilt with King on Tuesday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Everything went their way against the King Brahmas as they made off with a 36-16 win. Given the Pirates' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 588th, while the Brahmas are ranked 1268th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Sinton is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for King, they dropped their record down to 2-10 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Sinton will be home for the holidays to greet Tuloso-Midway at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Tuloso-Midway has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for King, they will head out to face off against Ingleside at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
