Football Recap: Warren Central Comes Up Short

Warren Central played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Franklin-Simpson Wildcats and fell 49-14. That's two games in a row now that the Dragons have lost by exactly 35 points.

Warren Central dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Franklin-Simpson, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Warren Central will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Allen County-Scottsville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Franklin-Simpson, they will head out on the road to face off against Lafayette at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
