Football Recap: Hillside Starts off Right with Win over E.E. Smith + How To Watch

Hillside gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the E.E. Smith Golden Bulls a 22-0 shutout. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Hornets' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 81st, while the Golden Bulls are ranked 288th).

Coming up, Hillside will head out to face off against Panther Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for E.E. Smith, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Ashley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
