Soccer Game Preview: Marana vs. Catalina Foothills

The Marana Tigers will challenge the Catalina Foothills Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Marana will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each contest than the last.

Marana's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past South Mountain 6-0. Considering the Tigers have won three games by more than three goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting South Mountain from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Peyton Sharp led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, after soaring to six goals the game before, Catalina Foothills was a bit more limited in their contest on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to Chaparral. The Falcons' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Catalina Foothills' defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Marana, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
