It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Maconaquah can now relate to. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Peru Tigers on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-6 two weeks ago.

Blayklee Buman put in work no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed seven innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

In other batting news, Kasey Murry made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Shaela Brazzel, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two stolen bases.

Maconaquah's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Peru, they now have a winning record of 11-10-1.

As of now, neither Maconaquah nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
