Soccer Game Preview: Heritage vs. Sequoyah

The Heritage Mountaineers will square off against the Sequoyah Chiefs at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Heritage's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Heritage fell victim to William Blount and their airtight defense on Thursday. They lost 4-0 to the Governors. While losing is never fun, Heritage can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 273rd, while William Blount are ranked 107th).

Meanwhile, Sequoyah also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Bradley Central on Friday, falling 9-0. The loss continues a trend for Sequoyah in their meetings with Bradley Central: they've now lost four in a row.

Sequoyah's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11-1. As for Heritage, their loss dropped their record down to 1-13-1.
