Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Joshua Christian couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trinity Christian Academy Warriors on Thursday. The Knights' loss signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

Riley Hanks paced Joshua Christian's offense, picking up ten kills. Hanks got some help from Audry Finch and her 23 assists. Hanks was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Joshua Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 14-6-1. As for Trinity Christian Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 25-10-1.

Joshua Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Trinity Christian Academy, they will square off against St. Paul's Prep at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
