Basketball Recap: Sylvan Hills Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Sylvan Hills lost against Vilonia back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Sylvan Hills Bears took a 56-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vilonia Eagles. The contest marked the Bears' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Sylvan Hills' loss ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 4-4. As for Vilonia, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sylvan Hills will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lake Hamilton at 6:30 p.m. on January 2, 2025. Vilonia and Quitman will round out the year against one another at at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday.
