Softball Recap: Curie Condors vs. Hancock Eagles

It was a good run, but Curie unfortunately witnessed the end of their 11-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 13-1 to the Hancock Eagles. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest runs Curie has scored all season.

For Hancock's part, Hannah Scuito was a standout: she went 2-for-2 with a home run, three runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Natalia Holguin, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Curie's loss ended an eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-1. As for Hancock, their win bumped their record up to 4-8.

Curie will be playing in front of their home fans against Kelly at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hancock will take on Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
