Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Lincoln-Way Central couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Lockport Porters by a score of 2-0 on Friday. The Knights' defeat signaled the end of their 23-game winning streak.

Lisabella Dimitrijevic spent all ten innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on seven hits and racked up 15 Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances.
