Volleyball Recap: Ashbrook Greenwave vs. Kings Mountain Mountaineers

Ashbrook lost against Kings Mountain back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Greenwave lost 3-0 to the Mountaineers. The Greenwave have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-5, 25-9, 25-2.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Kings Mountain to victory, but perhaps none more so than Camden Pasour, who had five digs and five aces. Pasour has been hot, having also posted 14 or more assists the last six times she's played. Ava Broome was another key player, getting four aces and three digs.

Ashbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Kings Mountain, the victory (which was their 18th in a row) raised their record to 26-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Ashbrook will square off against rival Forestview at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Kings Mountain is set to challenge their familiar foe South Point at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
