Basketball Recap: Swansea Victorious

Swansea hadn't done well against Fox Creek recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Swansea Tigers slipped by the Fox Creek Predators 42-41. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 35-28 victory the Predators walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2022.

Fox Creek lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jada Jennings, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. Mariah Price was another key player, putting up nine points.

Swansea's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Fox Creek, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Swansea wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 40-27 victory against Silver Bluff on the 25th. Fox Creek has also already played their next contest, a 63-12 loss against Keenan on the 25th.
