Softball Recap: Pemberton Takes a Loss

Holy Cross hit Pemberton with a ten-run first inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Hornets lost 12-1 to the Lancers. The Hornets haven't had much luck with the Lancers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Pemberton's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Holy Cross, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-8.

Coming up, Pemberton will head out to challenge STEMCivics at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Holy Cross, they will square off against Northern Burlington at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
