Volleyball Recap: Wells Comes Up Short

Wells suffered their biggest loss since October 26, 2024 on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Owyhee Braves. The Leopards have struggled against the Braves recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Wells was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-14, 25-15.

Wells' defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-10. As for Owyhee, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wells will head out to take on Wendover at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Owyhee, they will venture away from home to square off against Carlin at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
