Basketball Recap: UR Academy Takes a Loss

UR Academy came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They took a blow against the Cramerton Christian Academy Crusaders, falling 66-18. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Crusaders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 57-12 back in November of 2024.

UR Academy's loss was their ninth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Cramerton Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season.

Coming up, UR Academy will head out to square off against Cornerstone Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Cramerton Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
