Volleyball Recap: Farmville Central Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Greene Central on Tuesday, Farmville Central came back down to earth. The Jaguars lost 3-0 to the Ayden - Grifton Chargers on Wednesday. The Jaguars have struggled against the Chargers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-10, 25-13.

Madison Denham paced Farmville Central's offense, picking up six kills. Denham got some help from Isabella Cox and her 12 assists.

Farmville Central's loss dropped their record down to 19-3. As for Ayden - Grifton, they are on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 19 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season.

Farmville Central and Ayden - Grifton should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings. The Jaguars will square off against Northwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (162 vs. 328). Meanwhile, Ayden - Grifton (ranked 52nd) will meet South Columbus (ranked 388th) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
