Ryle barely beat Highlands the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Raiders' pitchers stepped up to hand the Bluebirds an 8-0 shutout on Monday. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by six runs or more this season.

Ryle pushed their record up to 17-8-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Highlands, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-8-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ryle will welcome Walton-Verona at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Highlands, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Beechwood at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
