Soccer Recap: Sweetwater Comes Up Short

Sweetwater lost against William Blount back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wildcats came up short against the Governors, falling 4-0.

Sweetwater's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for William Blount, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-4-3.

Coming up, Sweetwater will face off against Tellico Plains at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sweetwater will be up against Tellico Plains' rather soft defense (which has allowed 8.67 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. William Blount does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
