Recap: Hemingford Bobcats vs. Crawford Rams
The Hemingford Bobcats suffered their closest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They fell just short of Crawford by a score of 37-35. Hemingford was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Crawford apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Britney Klein continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Crawford, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 13 rebounds. Klein hasn't dropped below two steals for 12 straight games. Kaylee Juhnke was another key contributor, scoring four points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
Hemingford's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Crawford, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-7.
Hemingford will head out on the road to square off against Edgemont at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Crawford, they will be playing at home against Hyannis on Friday. Hyannis is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
