Baseball Recap: Grand County Wins Going Away Against North Summit

Grand County not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since March 6th. Everything went their way against the North Summit Braves as Grand County made off with an 11-1 win. The Red Devils haven't had any issues with the Braves recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Brady Dawson tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-low in walks (zero).

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Trace York, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Grand County's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 2-9 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Jt Dowd, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base.
