L'Anse won the last time they faced Ontonagon and things went their way on Monday too. The L'Anse Purple Hornets blew past the Ontonagon Gladiators, posting a 72-33 win. The Purple Hornets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 32 points or more this season.

L'Anse has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.9 points per game. As for Ontonagon, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.

L'Anse will face off against Dollar Bay at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ontonagon, they are taking a road trip to take on Baraga at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Baraga will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Ontonagon surely won't give up without a fight.
