Soccer Game Preview: Sheridan vs. White Hall

The Sheridan Yellowjackets will venture away from home to take on the White Hall Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Sheridan is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against El Dorado last Tuesday. Neither Sheridan nor El Dorado could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

While White Hall didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-11-2), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They put the hurt on Arkansas with a sharp 5-1 victory last Thursday. White Hall might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by three goals or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for White Hall and bumps their season record up to 7-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those two contests. Sheridan's draw gives them a new season record of 4-1-1.

Sheridan couldn't quite get it done against White Hall in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can Sheridan avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
